Casper and his friend Elvira came into Kendall County Animal Control right before Halloween. A cruel person thought it would be funny to leave them in a safe haven box at a fire station, not only causing the fire station to think a baby was left there, but these poor scared guys had no idea what was going on with all the commotion. Because of this we have absolutely no information on their background. They have been separated due to gender, and so Casper is now on his own. Unfortunately male mice are very territorial and so he will do best staying by himself so he has tons of stuff to play with and explore. He loves to tunnel and has created an extensive underground roadway in his tank. He is not really hand tamed but he isn't aggressive, he runs and doesn't like being picked up but hasn't bitten and we are working on trusting us to take treats from us. He has a great appetite and is very cute, he also is unbothered by the cats, dogs, and little kids in the house who enjoy watching him in his tank. He would love a nice warm, safe place to call home.
His adoption fee is $5
