Elvira and her friend Casper were abandoned in a safe haven box at the fire station.  Probably as a prank to the fire fighters.  But I'm sure very scary for these two.  We have no background information of course so unknown ages.  It is unknown if Elvira was pregnant but most likely as she and Casper were housed together.  She passed away 1 week after we got her.
