Toby is a very sweet, male eastern box turtle.  He loves to wander around the house and find a nice warm spot in the sun...just like the cats.  He is fine with the cats, dogs, and kids in the house but can get territorial and nip (common for male turtles) so he would do best in a house with older kids.  We don't have any information on him because he has changed hands a couple times...He started off with someone, and then their cousin got him and wasn't able to house him appropriately, so then he ended up with the receptionist at a vets office (one of our foster homes vets clinics) and she realized she didn't know enough about reptiles and she contacted the rescue.  So we don't know his age although he does seem to be full grown.  He of course does great eating his bugs, but is picky about his veggies and even his fruit.  He will need a large set up with plenty of spots to dig (his favorite activity).
