Peppa is a very fluffy gray male chinchilla.  He is about 5 yrs old (as of July 2024) and has quite the personality.  Like most chinchillas he is not a fan of change, he takes a while to warm up to new people, environments, and routines.  And he will let you know of his dislike, he is very vocal about his feelings as well.  He is not aggressive and can be won over with treats, but he would do best with older kids or adults who understand he needs his space and also is not a huge fan of the noise and movement that comes with little kids.  He is unbothered by the cats and dogs in his foster home though.  He loves his dried greens and veggies, and of course is an avid groomer.  Chinchillas can live 10 - 20 years with the right care so he still has plenty of life and would love a nice quiet home that he can relax in.
