Lexie is a 5-8 year old golden retriever/shepherd mix who loves all the people.  She is very loyal, smart, and affectionate.  She would do great as an only pet but with training and socialization she has gotten to like the other dogs in her foster home and with the right introduction would be fine with another dog.  She has never met a cat though.  Lexi is great with children of all ages and loves to be pet and get attention from everyone she meets.  She play fetch, sits, gives pay, and is easily trainable.  She is housebroken, does well in the car and on a leash.  She is very smart and is looking for her forever home.  She is fixed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped.  Lexie came to us positive for heartworm but has completed her treatments and is now heartworm negative.
