Peggy is a sweet, female, Russian Tortoise.  She came to us when her owner passed away.  She was very well taken care of and clearly loved.  Unfortunately we do not know her age but she is clearly a full grown adult.  She has a great appetite and loves lettuce, broccoli, cucumbers, so far pretty much all veggies she has tried.  She really enjoys spending time outside on warm, sunny days.  She takes a little while to adjust to her new home and does enjoy burrowing under in her hide.  She is fine with the kids and tolerates the dogs and cats just fine as well.
