Roxy is a 1yr old DLH female tuxedo.  She is shaved at this time because the people that had her before weren't able to care for her long hair properly and she was severely matted when she came into animal control.  She has to be one of the sweetest, kindest, social kitties you'll ever meet.  She loves attention and to snuggle and be held.  She also adores her toys and loves to play.  Blankets are her favorite.  She loves to crawl under them and get herself wrapped up like a cocoon.  At a very young age Roxy had some severe allergies and the vet went in and found some polyps in her sinus cavity and removed them.  At times she sounds a little stuffy, but the vet said that's just her and the way she breathes now.  Roxy is a little thin due to not being able to smell her food before, but she is enthusiastically eating and enjoying her meals now so she is putting on weight well.  She seems to be fine with other cats and kids.  We are not sure how she will respond to a dog though but will probably be okay with a calm, disinterested dog with the right introduction.  She is fixed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped.
