My name is Sandy, I am a 12 yr old female long haired white cat with brown tabby markings and striking green eyes.  I'm very sweet, calm, and snuggly.  Unfortunately, my story is a sad one.  Both of my humans passed away and I moved into a home with their children, and bonded to their senior dog, who then also passed away.  And I found myself struggling with a lot of grief and depression.  The people thought they were helping me and went and got me a kitty, who ended up bullying me and attacking me.  The people apparently liked the younger kitty more and I was dumped at animal control.  So here I am, thankfully a rescue took me in so I didn't have to worry about space in a shelter, but I really would like a nice, calm, cozy home to retire in.  I would be fine with dogs if they are calm and respectful.  I would be okay with older, calmer kids as well.  I am now scared of other cats so I need to be an only cat.  I am a little shy at first but once I know I can trust you I am very friendly and will be your friend forever.  I am fixed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped.  I am also 4 paw declawed.
